Dear Parents of P1 (2024) Students,
A very warm welcome to Tampines Primary School!
1) Orientation Day Details
We are pleased to inform you that this year’s P1 Orientation will take place on Friday, 10 November 2023, 2pm at the school hall. Registration starts from 1.30pm. Please be punctual. Parking is not allowed on the school premises; you can park in the nearby carparks around the school compound instead.
Detail of P1/2024 Orientation Day as follows:
Date: 10 November 2023, Friday
Time: 2pm – 4pm (Registration starts from 1.30pm)
Venue: School Hall, Level 2
Note: School books and School uniforms for 2024 P1 students can be purchased on the same day. Sales will strictly commence only after the end of Orientation Programme. You can also express your interest in school bus services and school student care services at the booth setup in the school canteen after the end of the Orientation Programme.
2) Parent Gateway (PG)
All future correspondences from school including important P1 administration processes, will be send out via Parents Gateway. You are strongly encouraged to download** the free Parents Gateway mobile app on your mobile phone (available on iOS and Android platforms only) and perform a simple one-time on boarding process.
Please refer to Annex A for the step-by-step guide. P1 2023 child’s information will tentatively be available in the system from 20th October 2023. Should you have difficulties in accessing PG, please notify the school at the soonest for assistance.
3) Completion of Administration Forms (Online)
For P1 registration for 2024 cohort, all parents are requested to complete the administration process online. There are several forms that requires your immediate completion. Please adhere to the stated timeline to complete the administrative forms.

Parents are strongly encouraged to sign up for Edusave Fund; catered to cover school miscellaneous fees (for Singapore Citizens only) Please Tick “Yes” for both questions on whether to use Edusave for 2nd Tier Miscellaneous fees and for local and overseas enrichment charges. School will seek your confirmation for any deduction of Edusave funds before the commencement of extra programmes. Submission will start from 1 Oct 2023. |

Online Consent for Immunisation and Dental Services | https://childconsent.hpb.gov.sg/ | HPB provides free health services such as screening, immunisation and dental checks for students in school during school hours. * Please do not buy books and/or uniforms on Orientation Day and/or before the outcome of the FAS application if you intend to apply for FAS for your child for 2024. No refund will be provided. Please submit as soon as possible as processing the applications will take time. |
4) Vendor Based Services (Details can also be found on our school website)
- School Bus Services – Booking to be done via Vendor on orientation day in the canteen
- Student Care Services Interest Application Form (for 2024 P1 students only)
- Please indicate your interest to our vendor before 16 October and you will be contacted by them. Result of application will be informed by vendor around end October 2023.
- Sales of School Uniform and Books
If you miss the orientation sales day, school uniforms and books can still be ordered online and opt for delivery or self-collection, please follow the dates allocated during checkout via the respective vendor’s sales website. Please note that there will be delivery charges.
5) Name Tag Order (Online Order)
Name Tags are considered a compulsory part of the school uniform. It serves as an identification for students, both in and out of school especially in times of emergency. They are to be ironed onto both School Shirt & PE T-shirt (above the school logo) - Refer to School diary for photo reference.
The Name Tag can be ordered via the provided link: https://oapl.sg/product/productdetails/oc-TPP/ii-2. All Name Tags ordered before 20th October will be given out during Orientation Day. Orders placed on or after 20th October, will be given to your child on the first day of school.
